Ceramics and Mountain Biking

Welcome to my blog! I am a full time ceramic artist living in Battle Ground, WA with my husband, Jeff, and crazy little Jack Russell Terrier, Trait. I make utilitarian pieces that are inspired by my surroundings and my interest in ancient Greek pottery. Over the last two years, since we moved to Washington, I have had a chance to develop a new body of work that reflects these inspirations and is a reinvestigation into past forms and ideas. My goal with this blog is to share with you my creative process and latest work. As some of you may know, I am also an avid mountain biker and may deviate from time to time to post on my latest rides. These rides are where I feel most creative.
